Day 6 Ciraqui to Villamayor de Monjardin

A very tender collarbone from my stupid backpack which is going to get replaced!!!!! I'm now walking with 3 crazy Swede's LOL we all in Estella for a foot breather N food and off to the WINE FOUNTAIN and continue UP the hill to Villamayor de Monjardin - a quiet 25km day.....

We go via a major windfarm and take a 5km detour (coz 20km wasn´t quite enough...lol) to see one of the Knights Templar churches and get a stamp in our passbooks - was worth the detour but the hills are always challenging - they LOVE hills!!!!!! Lost the pedometer today....ho hum!

Arrived in Villamayor de Monjardin - day 6 done N dusted - 7hrs & 25km! Feet still blister free but really aching N tired ;-( pack is a disaster - new 1 in Logrono! My back N shoulders bruised and aching. Cooler day made it better 23C (35C yesty) am proud of my efforts and am further than I expected! ;-)

A wonderful refugio run by Dutch people - Pilgrim menu was delicious and always with red wine! There was also a bar next door where the barman served generous scotch.......and i got propositioned!!!!! LOL

Small room and too much snorning and no earplugs was not good - 6 people! Even the local "rocket fuel" blueberry nightcap didn´t knock me out!! hehe
