Ronscavalles to Larrasoana Day 3

An uneventful but LOOOOONG trek to Larrasoana and discovered the Spanish signs are a "rough" guide....2km is NOT necessarily 2km...!! lol sometimes its 4 and other times 6....does NOTHING to help the demented mind that is already over tired and wishing it had stopped at the previous town.

After a very pleasant walk to Zubiri and a fab lunch of large baguette with freshly carved thin ham and super tasty cheese and fresh tomato....which was pretty much inhaled like a hyper active vacuum cleaner...we decided (my walking pal Ed & I) to walk the so called 4.7km to Larrasoana which ended up almost 8km!!!!!!!!!

Eventually arriving in Larrasoana having used every last morsel of energy and willpower, throbbing feet (but no blisters etc) and screaming collarbone, I was SO excited about a hot shower....but NO..NO of course not, a COLD shower was order of the day.....FFS!!! LOL

Dinner was actually very very nice - pasta, beef stew & rice pudding all served with endless bread and red wine all for only 11euro. Accomm was 6euro. A smaller room but with 14 people and the smaller the room the louder the barritones of SNORING......despite earplugs!

On the way back to the Alburgue we bumped into Ed´s mate Jonas who has now joined us to Santiago - another walking pal joins the lil group ;-)

Welcome Jonas - you crazy Swede!!!
